spoiled olives?
For the holidays, we opened a commercially packaged jar of mixed
'Greek' olives. My husband said he likes them. I think they taste
weird. (I only like black olives which are processed completely
differently.)
Now there is a 'scum' at the top of the liquid in the jar. Is this
spoilage?
I'm hoping its olive oil or some other natural phenomenon, but would
rather not poison my dearly beloved to find out if they're safe or
not. ;>
Any ideas?
