I thought the sandwiches looked absolutely disgusting myself. And my
husband, who will eat darn near ANYTHING also grimaced. It did look like a
hotdog split down the center with white goop on it. I was wondering if it
was ricotta and then nixed that idea because it didn't seem like it would
fit. Then I wondered if it could be some sort of horseradish sauce? Maybe
a spicy Italian sausage? That's the best I can think of.
