No one has mentioned the old-fashioned but very tasty dinner salad:
Remove the wedges from a fresh red or pink grapefruit, leaving the
membrane behind. On a leaf or bed of lettuce, alternate avocado
slices with the grapefruit sections (supremes), and drizzle with a
vinaigrette. Regular red wine vinegar will be better for this than
balsamic. -aem
