Fine, but it's not funny or pretty:

She and married Manager started an affair that lasted for a couple of
months, then fizzled. Miss Flirt then filed a complaint with the District
Manager stating that after the affair ended she was being treated unfairly
by the General Manager. In reality, he would no longer allow her to stay on
the clock while he and she snuck off to her place to Kanoodle, nor would he
fire any more employees due to personal conflicts with Flirt. That really
did happen, as I was the first to go - Flirt lived in the apartment above me
and she didn't want me telling other employees about the amount of time she
and he were spending up there together. He did feel guilty about that,
though, and asked a manager of another restaurant to take me on there, so I
didn't lose any work days and actually got a slightly higher pay there.
Finally, he refused to allow her to work shifts with him, so she had to work
the day shift under another manager whom Flirt didn't like (and the feeling
was returned with interest by most or all of the other employees).

At the same time Flirt filed the complaint with the Regional office, she
sent Mr. Manager's wife a few cards with notes and photos to let the Mrs.
know exactly what her husband had been up to. By the time it was over, both
of them got fired, and his wife left him and took his daughter with her.
Then the day shift manager approached me and asked if I'd like my old job
back. I politely declined.

About three years after that, I saw Flirt's name in our local newspaper.
She was suing a local manufacturing company because she'd had another affair
with another married man and after *that* affair ended, he transferred her
to a different department with the same hours, wages, and benefits; but she
was still fuming over being 'mistreated' and insisting that a large
financial settlement would help her feel better. I heard she got an
undisclosed amount of money, couldn't seem to find another job, and
eventually left the state. She's probably a little too old nowadays to be
sleeping her way to the top, or at least I hope so!
