I'm not a scientist, but I _did_ stay at a Holiday Inn Express last
night. :-) Seriously, I _do_ have a minor in chemistry, if that

A pousse-cafe is indeed made of layers of alcoholic beverages of
different densities. So, for that matter, is a Black & Tan (Guinness
Stout and a milder beer).
