I have never regularly watched cooking shows since Julia Child
and Joyce Chen (I think I got her name right but I tend to
remember her as "Julia Chen"!)

I'll admit that I have been known to watch Emeril and have a
sneaking liking for his show despite the hamming it up and the
obviously cued applause and laughter.
