Actually I learned a lot from my grandfather. He always had a beautiful
vegetable garden. He'd grow tomatoes, peppers, corn, pumpkin, zucchini,
basil... you name it he'd grow it.

I'm doing container gardening this year. I started out with tomato,
zucchini, radicchio, basil, dill and rosemary.

All I have are the tomato and zucchini, though I'm going to have LOTS of
each. I found out that I have something near me that likes to eat baby
radicciho and basil. I also found out that dill weed does NOT like
direct sunlight. The rosemary never sprouted.
