Have you ever had any small children in the house that you were 100%
responsible for at the time, Blair? Did you do any cooking when they
were there? Everyone has to eat sometime. If you chose to leave the
children alone in another room, they were old enough to take care of
themselves.

What you said is all fine and good as far as theory, but kids are kids
and they do things as soon as you take your eyes off them. In fact,
you can be watching them with both eyes, be within inches of them and
still not be fast enough to stop them from doing something that will
cause themselves harm. I know. It happened to me and it's like
watching a horror movie in slow motion.
