My wife likes to have the radio on when she is in the kitchen. It used
to be that she would turn on the stereo in the living room and then go
in the kitchen. Well, it's hard to hear, both because it's in the next
room and because her hearing is bad. So, I'm in the living room with
this stereo blasting, and she still can't hear it. So, for Christmas
last year, I got her a radio for the kitchen. It's still too loud but
it's much better.
