It has been a while, even though lobster is much more affordable than it
used to be. It has always been expensive here, and the rare times that I
had it I was not impressed enough to figure that it was worth so much. Then
about 20 years ago I was on vacation and went through Bar Harbour to get
the ferry to Nova Scotia and had lobster in a seafood restaurant there. I
had a lobster epiphany and discovered that fresh lobster properly cooked is
delicious, unlike the pre-cooked rubbery things we used to get here.
