Jelly really has little place with eggs, but Maple Syrup creates
The Great Open-Faced Pancake Sandwich:
Three or four pancakes, well-buttered and stacked
Top with two eggs, fried over medium or basted
Salted and peppered and topped with Maple Syrup.
