While I enjoy his stories, I'm sure there are plenty of us who could
supply equally humorous, touching and delightfully written stories
about our own families. I know I can<g>.

But I do try to keep mine at least vaguely related to food and kitchen
(dh & the knife, etc.). Might be less need for special surveys and
flame warring if Ranger could keep that in mind. Better yet, how
about setting yourself up a website to post your stories to, or a
blog, and adding the url to your .sig?

Best of both worlds. Those of us who enjoy your parenting tales get
to read them, and those who don't have slightly less to carp about.

(Notice how I managed to make this a "food" post by adding "carp"?)
