I used to live in Warren on Mound Road just north of 14 mile; Larry
Larry and Moe's steak place on 13 Mile east of Mound was a favorite
steak place but I think it's no longer in business. I wonder if
Memphis Smoke is still in Royal Oak; that was a good BBQ joint. There
are lots of good places to eat downtown if you go to Greektown;
Fishbones was my favorite. May I recommend lunch at a National Coney
Island; get the Coney Dog with the chili and loose hamburger meat.
There are a lot of Polish Italian restaurants around Detroit that are
good. The Polish American Convention Center (I think it was on 16
mile in Warren) had a great lunch.
