While I agree with controlled reproduction, cannibalism is one place I
could just never go... Too much social conditioning I expect, plus
species survival. Eating one's own dead is the best way to spread
disease. It's why it's not that common in most wild animals either.

Kuru comes to mind as being a very vivid case against it.
