My pet peeve is people (many of them women) who leave the lid up.
There's a reason for that lid!

I always put them both down afterwards.

And Kili's right. We had one male child who was too lazy to lift up the
seat. And too lazy to wipe off the drops of pee that inevitably were
left on the seat.
