Did he say getting paid to COOK? No, he did not. Getting paid to "do it"
could mean anything. Quoting is Netiquette, and you are not such a newbie
that you don't know that.

Yes, I tend to get defensive when people like you, who don't know me at all,
accuse me of things about which you know not. Too bad you still don't
understand the importance of quoting. "Getting paid to do it" doesn't
indicate anything about food, not at all.
I had a lovely dinner, thanks to helpful suggestions over the phone from
Christy (kilikini). It's funny how Damsel thinks she can speak for her.
Christy is stronger than that. And Christy got over the whole white cake
thing a long time ago. So should you.
