Isn't this also a variation on the "monte cristo" sandwich, just
different insides? The "PB&J monte cristo" sounds delicious, too. I've
had MCs where only the bread was "french toasted," then the sandwich was
put together afterwards. I much prefer the whole sandwich to be
battered, not just the bread.
