Assuming you are using OE to read Groups? Go to TOOLS/ACCOUNTS and set up a
new NEWS group using

nntp.aioe.org

As the server and put some fictitious address for yourself to stop spam

Has all the Groups you can want and allows both read and posts. I have been
using it for years
