Since I've started routinely answering the phone at home like I do at
work, a LOT of telemarketers hang up on me.

I answer "Good morning (or afternoon), how may I help you?"

There seems to be a general policy against telemarket spamming
businesses and for some reason, answering the phone that way makes them
think that that is what they have called.
