No I didn't split the head before I cooked it. I never thought of it
but I will next time. Thank you for the suggestion.

I wondered if I should have cleaned out the gills. That I will do.
I'm not sure if I'll do the eye thing anytime soon. I do like to try
different things so I see myself doing that ....eventually....
