Yes, I have tried all the enzymes for a number of years. In the last year I
used a regime of Life Extension's d-limonene for a couple of weeks
every-other-day, then off for a couple of months. It didn't work for me,
but helped DH. He doesn't take anything, but does get GERD sometimes.

"D-limonene, has been shown to provide fast-acting, long-lasting relief from
gastric distress. D-limonene is thought to coat the esophagus and guard
against caustic stomach acid, while helping to reduce the amount of gastric
juices regurgitated into the esophagus." It's from LifeExtension.

I'm BACK on Prilosec since April. Not that I like to be, but Dr. says it is
more harmful to upchuck acid, than take Prilosec. That's debatable AFAIC,
but for the time being, my life is bearable as far as that goes.
