Surgery is always out for me -- When I was getting a blood test Friday, the
desk clerk asked this woman probably in her 80's when she was going in for
surgery -- she actually smiled when she gave her the date. Unless it would
be a life or death situation, I couldn't smile, then I'd have to force it.

Losing weight? Well, this little stint with the counter-tops/eating out has
left me no doubt a few pounds over -- I 'will not' get on the scales for at
least a week of eating decently. DH has admitted a gain.

Today it's been fruit and tea -- by choice. I'd be dead in a month if I had
to eat out every day.
