The idea for this survey came over the weekend. I was diagnosed with
type 2 last week. Genetic factor appears to be involved. Apparently
I've done a very poor job picking my relatives, as Mom and two of my
brothers also have it.

Statistically not quite as bad as it might sound, though. There are
11 other siblings who haven't yet been diagnosed with it....
