Often called "adult onset".
It's not always insulin dependent, but can be.

I was headed there with Insulin Resistance.
I've managed to head it off (so far), but it's taken a complete
lifestyle change.

I'll be living a low carb lifestyle for the rest of my life with only
occasional cheats.
