My mother about 1951 decided that she liked that stuff in a can; and was
able to recreate it. She actually boiled the spaghetti in her sauce
(probably used tomato soup) , and boiled it - and boiled it --

The first time I tasted real spaghetti was in 1955. I was astounded!
