We did not go for grapes. I thought about it and decided that if we did
and found some I'd then be obligated to do something with them and
IBePooped.

Yesterday we tripped around Mpls a bit and endeared ourselves to TJ.
Today we went to Stillwater (about 45 minutes from here; east of St.
Paul on the St. Croix River border between MN & WI. Had entirely too
much fun in the Chef's Gallery (
http://thechefsgallery.com/), a couple
antique shops (I bought four TaB glasses -- woo-woo!!), and lunch at
Marx Wine Bar & Grill (http://www.marxwbg.com/index.php) where we had
miserable table service and some pretty tasty eats. We shared a white
pizza and a very interesting dish of linguine with roasted pork
tenderloin in coconut milk sauce with ginger, tomato, cilantro, and
cumin. Gloria's going to figure out how to recreate it in her kitchen.
Then she's going to tell me. :-)

On the way home we stopped at Wuollet's on Grand Ave in St. Paul for
three pieces of Princess Torte for dessert (yikes! they were $4.35
each) ‹ Gloria had never tasted it.

Dinner at home was a simple green bean soup (I've posted it here a few
times) with a baguette from Wuollet's and some cheese (mushroom brie
from TJ).

Tomorrow at half past oh-dark-omigod we're going to the Minneapolis
Farmers Market. If I time this well, we'll hit Kramarczuk's on the way
home and maybe Al's for breakfast, too.

It's really fun having Gloria visit.
