Help On A Mystery Italian Meal

My great grandmother from Italy used to make it (polenta) that way,but
my grandmother revised it a bit.She would cook the polenta to a creamier
state,put it on a indiviual plates w/mozzerella and parm on top,then
another layer of polenta,topped with homemade tomato sauce and
sausage.The cheeses would melt and add a heavenly flavor to the whole
thing.I could never make it like they did...such childhood memories
