I got sick on my own cooking for the first time

Well I ate some more chili last night and I didn't get sick so it must
have been something else. I was worry for a while that something was bad
with the meat. Look what happen, I got sick (which is unusual...except
for taco bell) Sunday morning then later on I hear about a massive
recall on ground beef.
