But, Bubba, me arse is dragging and if the joker in front of me tilts
back the seat, my keyboard will be against my tummy.
It's been a very nice trip. Not to your standards, no doubt, but
suitable for the likes o' me.
Dinner last night involved polpo in a couple different forms, fresh
anchovies (yum!), a scallop, a fish called umber in England (don' know
the Eye-talian word), fried potatoes with it, gnocchi and risotto
(I'lll have to check the pics for particulars) -- very nice (and I KNOW
it's two starches!) and something posing as an ice cream cake --
semifreddo? Poseur! No cake, though lots of amaretti. I've eaten
worse. The wine was fine as was the frizzante.
