Cut in half lengthways and microwave until soft enough to mash - about
10-15 minutes depending on your microwave. Remove seeds, peel, and
mash with salt and pepper and cream (soya cream or cows' cream). You
could boil or steam it instead of microwaving but it might come out soggier.
Leftovers can be put into pie - line a pie tin with pastry, add the
mashed squash, and bake until the pastry is cooked. Nice hot or cold.
