My co-worker with the same mold uses red jello mixed with yogurt - it
comes out pinkish. Doesn't matter since no one will eat any of it.

He brings it to potlucks.

It reminds me of my experience making kitty litter cake for my 13yo
son's birthday party. If it's too "realistic" no one will touch it.
