And although I've never done it, I have a ten watt idea that most
certainly has been done before. Thinly slice up some licorice
lengthwise, roll it into veins and position it in the mold to make veins
in the brain before you pour in the gelatin. Ooooooooh!
This may not work at all. But if it does, you're golden. Some release
agent may be required on the cast side of the brain mold for the veins
to release with the brain into the final grisly product.
