Default san francisco - Indonesian Rice Table

I used to eat at the Indonesian Rice Table on Clement street all the time
back in the '80s. Today, it has barely changed. I don't know how popular or
traditional their "rice table" is there, but their curry and noodle plates
are delicious and they have the best "french fries" in the city, fried and
tossed with chilis, rice vinegar and sugar. They make your eyes water but
you can't stop eating them. Their curries are mild but so soulful, and the
peanut noodles and satay kept me alive for several years. For some reason I
feel melancholy when I go there, but I'm glad it's still around. If you are
in the SF Area it's a nice place - very inexpensive and homey... not fancy
but soulful.
