My lemongrass finally sprouted some roots after 5 weeks in water.
I hear it grows pretty fast, wants sandy soil, etc.. But all the pictures in the web I see are just a big bush of long grass. Where are the actual stalks of lemongrass? http://www.kfunigraz.ac.at/~katzer/pictures/cymb_08.jpg I almost expected it to grow like corn or soemthing, the way the lemongrass I buy at the store looks like it has a root end that looks like an ear of corn. -sw |
