Default Meetha Chawal

Hello,

What's the secret of a good Meetha Chawal ?
When do you add the saffron ?
On which occasion do you prepare such a delight ?

This site has a recipe.

If you don't know what all the words mean, try out
http://www-ang.kfunigraz.ac.at/~katzer/engl/index.html
for info.
Not sure which festival M. C. is associated with. If you don't get an
answer here, and dread wading into the political barking on the
soc.indian groups, try a very polite OT post to one of the Indian
classical music groups. I have gotten kind emailed responses to very
technical food questions posted there.
