I am an expatriate Sri Lankan who appreciates the taste, flavour and aroma
of a good curry. However, Sri Lankan food is not confined to only hot curries. I find that the Indian curries are "richer" in flavour and quite spicy, whereas the Sri Lankan curry is not so spicy, but is hotter with more chilli. When cooking a curry, you must experiment to find the right balance that suits you. Try a delicious prawn curry for a start! http://www.currymad.net Enjoy!
