I put the filling together for a cheesecake. I put the filling in the
electric mixer and added whip cream as stated in the recipe (beaten egg white). I then proceeded to bake the cake and the cheese and the egg looked like they had separated. The batter was real watery. Can someone help? |

I have had the same problem and it happens only now and then. The same
recipe I would use every time but different results. Two years ago at Christmas I made 14 Cheesecakes and 12 were great but two were watery and reminded me of the consistencey of cottage cheese!! I was told it all depended on how the weather was, as to whether or no the cheesecake (or other cakes) turned out right. Don't know if it's fact or "old wives tale" though.... |
