Saint Paul Bread Club
2004 Community Oven The Saint Paul Bread Club will have a community oven on July 17, where members can bake bread in the ovens of the Saint Agnes Baking Company. Membership in the club is free and open to the public. Bread bakers with any level of experience are welcome. Membership in the club is open to anyone interested in bread. We will meet for the community oven on July 17, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Saint Agnes Baking Co., 644 Olive Street in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. A community oven is where people (such as residents of a village) gathered to use one oven that the community shared to cook their food and bake their bread, conserving fuel. For us, the community oven will actually be four ovens provided by Saint Agnes for our use. If you have any questions, contact David S. Cargo.
