I recently purchased a Salter "aquatronic kitchen scale" from Williams
Sonoma for about $70. It's the 5kg / 11lbs version with a tare button and the kg/lbs switch on the front panel. NOTE: there are older (or different) models still on dealers' shelves that have the kg/lbs switch inconveniently located underneath the unit.
