Sand in a cake?
 
I always put some sand into my cakes, this makes them harder and they
won´t crumble so easily.

Is sand in cakes dangerous or not?

No. It is the main in ingredient in sandwiches.

i would think that it would be annoying getting the gritty bits in
your teeth--reminds me when we were kids and would go to the beach for
the day with our egg sandwiches--always ended up with sand in them.!!!
seriously though you have got to be kidding?
