Candy molds -- custom?
Does anyone know where or how I can make my own candy molds? The small
plastic molds for lollipops, etc would work great, but I need a custom shape. Anyone ever done this? Thank you! Stacey |
If you have a shape to work from, you could make a plaster mold, then
coat it with some sort of food safe material. Or you could get a lollipop mold and use your shape and a heat gun to remake the mold into your shape. Considering how many molds are availlable, I wonder if what you want is out there, somewhere. What are you trying to make? Greg Zywicki |
It depends what you're trying to make.
My chocolate instructor often uses crisco for his molds. - Misa |

Just make a mold of the shape you want to attain some food grade plastic to make them with. kimberly |
