Default Dry milk

I know this should be used when one is useing the timer on a bread machine.
None of my recipes that came with this unit that offers plain milk in their
recipes mention that it could be replaced with dry milk, except for that one
page and the timer. Can dry milk be used in place of milk during the normal
procedure? If so, what is the ratio? Thanks
