I was called this am by Camco who does all service for GE.
They were supposed to do the last attempt to fix my soot
problem. I was told that he wasn't coming he had to order
parts a new regulator. They replaced the regulator on the
first visit.

I contacted the seller and they are putting a red flag on
the oven as dangerous.

I will know by Thursday how soon I'll get my new stove.

Thank goodness!

What a pain!

I'll finally get the stove I want. Gas burners and 2
electric ovens, one convection.

I hope your experience with JennAir is better than mine. I have a dual fuel
Jenn Air with downdraft in white.

Glad to hear things are finally going your way.

Which model GE oven was giving you soot problems?

And what was their excuse for not being
able to fix it?

The model is:

GE Free Standing Range JGBP33WEHWW 30" Free-Standing
Self-Cleaning Gas Range$1059

I haven't received any explanation.
