Default Hey I found this great BBQ forum for Smokers and Grillers

The Virtual Weber Bullet Web Site. http://tvwbb.infopop.cc/eve
I been lurking around this forum site for a month or so, it has tons of
ideas and suggestions. Great people who love to Q. And the best part
is they are not Weber Nuts so they respect all other brands of
Smokers, Grills, Gas and Electric whatever.
Nice group of people and you don't get the Crazy post which I see
far too often on this site.

Your mileage may vary but give it a click...

This isn't a site. It's a chat room.

Yes it is just like this one except you don't get the JUNK post the
point is that this site has great tips even if you don't have a Weber.

You are absolutely correct. I know you're correct because I ALWYS
check my facts before posting nonsense to the Usernet (tm). You
should, too.

Oh, please. Is that supposed to somehow reflect poorly on me?

As long as you're lecturing us on the inner workings of the Usernet
(tm), could you tell us what YHBT means? I need to know for a book
report on a work by Sir Isaac Walton.

It's called "the Usenet" and NOT "the Usernet". It's rather
disturbing that my 75 year-old mother makes the same mistake.

Usernet is a common corruption of "usenet," which is usually intended to
be humorous.

alt.food.barbecue is a usenet news group.

However you are seeing messages in a.f.b., you are participating in
usenet. Many web sites, including google, make it available as what
looks like a web chat area or a chat room.

Many list servers, including the gateway controlled by
http://www.otherwhen.com/mailman/listinfo make usenet news groups
available as mailing lists.

But none of that changes the fact you are, in fact, using usenet.

Correctly if I'm wrong but it's called "the Unsent". Bill Gates wanted
to make a distinction between posting here and sending a regular email.
Don't ask me why.

Nice try, but it was Bill Gates' wife who went to Duke and
help start the usenet (between Duke and UNC).

That's correct. At Duke they called it Dukesnet and at UNC they
called it Uncenet. Eventually they compromised on Usenet. It was
either that or Duncenet.

It's a message board, dipshit, not a chat room.

It's the weekend, so dank gets his turn at the prison library's
