Barbecue (alt.food.barbecue) Discuss barbecue and grilling--southern style "low and slow" smoking of ribs, shoulders and briskets, as well as direct heat grilling of everything from burgers to salmon to vegetables.

Default Tonight's Supper

Just fetched some whole chickens from the garage fridge that have been
in Hound's brine the past 24 hours. Gonna be putting them into the
cooker in about an hour alongside a pot of beans. Later, I'll be
adding some corn-on-the-cob and a medley of zukes, summer squash,
onion & mushrooms.

To round out tonight's supper we'll add in a nice green salad made
from produce straight from our garden and a big bowl of banana
pudding.

I'll be gaining a few pounds from supper but with food this good I see
no way I should hold myself back.

Ya'll have a geat evening.

The veggies sound great. I've got 2 brined chix (quick ad-hoc brine
with various stuff) and 4 full racks on. We won't be eating quite as
nice as you, just some potato salad on the side.

And banana pudding, damn.
