Probably because you had not finished a heaping helping of this:

http://tinyurl.com/6zk2gw

In case the URL didn't work, take a look at this (sorry for the wrap):

http://www.seriouseats.com/2008/06/v...ook-texas.html

That has been on the menu at Sodolaks for many, many years. But it
was "discovered" by the folks at Food Network and it has been a topic
of discussion on many sites and forums after their story ran a few
months ago.

Really, if you are going to blow out your pump and split open your
arteries, why not have both? Maybe add some cheese filled, deep fried
jalapeno poppers?

Rockin. You'll make the family happy with that, I'm sure.

For the Upcoming Election Party I'm going to do around
8 different fried items along with the roast beast.
Drunk people love deep fried stuff.

Marty, my suggestion would be to work up good oysters, livers and
gizzards first, then give thought to the minor stuff like veggies. <grin>

You're a lucky man Marty. You'll like it. I wouldn't trade mine for a new
speckled pup. One caveat though. If you use it too many times between
cleanups, it will be a bitch to clean. The basket in particular will accumulate
a crust that requires re-entry temperatures to get it off. Providing you're
not as lazy as I am, you'll have no trouble with it. Avoid the urge to leave
oil in the tank between uses. It deteriorates in contact with air. The unit
is so convenient, it invites misuse.

Deep Fried Mac and Cheese is the bomb. The next level up is a little
smokie with squert of mustard wrapped in mac and cheese then flour, egg,
and bread crumbs. Deep fry and enjoy. Two bites each. Like heaven then it
gets better.
