I am currently shopping around for a turkey fryer and would like some
recommendations from the experts. I am looking for something that could handle a turkey for 8-10 people max. I have also been looking at the Brinkman's (32 and 40 qt models). Are these pretty decent models? Any success/problem stories you care to offer with this model? Would you recommend the 32 or 40 qt model based on the 8-10 people I would be cooking for? Don't want to get into an overkill situation. Prices are around $119 for the 32 qt. and 140 for the 40 qt. models (including a free Brinkman cover). Is this reasonable? Many thanks to all!!! Love the group!! |

![]() "Scott" > wrote in message ... I recommend going bigger. I have 3 pots because I bought small, then a little bigger, and then really big (when the other two were just not big enough). It seems when you do turkeys, seafood steams/boils, and other outdoor fares, you end up with more friends than you ever knew you had (showing up uninvited, too). Get a high BTU burner, too (but not the jet burner, unless you like loud noise). Dave |
