would appreciate suggestions for quick food that can be made the day before,
serve about a dozen who will be stopping by for an hour, that can go from weber to plate, and impress like hell. meat, fish, fowl, veg - doesn't matter, anything at all. many thanks. |

Chicken wings or legs. Apply your favorite rub and place on Weber over medium hot coals or lump about 20-25 minutes. Apply sauce if desired. Happy Q'en, BBQ |

Humbly, I offer the following:
Jalapenos are too spicy and assertive to be combined with crab. The bacon, cheese and the jalapenos will mask the taste of the crab. Where do you get crab in Idaho anyway? Are you using fake crab? We also can't grow oranges, so I use Tang in recipes calling for oranges. No coffee beans, but we have Ovaltine. This time of year, there's no fruit or vegetables, 'cept for what we were able to can during the summer or store away in the root cellar. Plenty of pork and beef, though it can be a mighty chore to slaughter them this time of year, what with the cold and the snow. Oh, and eveyone has a flock of chickens in the yard, unless the coyotes get into them. Can't chat right now, Kent. I just heard over the telegraph that there's another Indian uprising south of the settlement. -- Kevin S. Do they really get live king crabs in Texas? I've never seen them in California. Most seem to get cooked and frozen before being sent to the lower 48. I was in Half Moon Bay yesterday and I bought some nice local Dungeness crab. The waves at Mavericks were pretty mellow. -- Yip |

Kevie as usual you're drifting off base and serving your deficient ego.
To get back to the original poster's question, "What's a good appetizer". Your response was almost retarded. "Kevin S.
