Fallen trees
There's an apple orchard at the end of my road that went out of business 2
years ago. They cut down most of their trees about a year and a half ago & sold most of the wood. Every day I drive by & look at the remaining trees they cut. They're just laying on the ground. Would it be worthwhile to try to find the owner & offer to clean up some of his land? IOW - is the wood still good? Sorry if this seems like a no-brainer, I'm not a lumberjack... I'm not sure how long trees on the ground like that would still be usable. |

If it is in contact with the ground forget it but anything else is still good stuff. |
