Those units are notorious for their high failure rate. Mine broke
immediately, and I've seen the same story reported by many in
several different forums.

Thanks for the quick answer and info. I've decided to stick with my pair of
old one-probe thermometers.

No, it doesn't. The last probe I bought for the one I have failed in 10
minutes. Do yaself a favor and buy two cheaper single probe therms. You'll
be glad ya did.

On the other hand, I've been using my dual-probe unit for a year now and it
has been fine.
And it's handy to just have one box to mount and keep an eye on. So I am a
happy customer.
